PROJECT OVERVIEW

Description:

The Mark Twain National Forests covers approximately 1.5 million acres, primarily in the Ozark Highlands of southern Missouri. The Mark Twain National Forest offer excellent recreational activities including fishing, hunting, camping and walking trails.

GEOServices provided an Archaeological Phase I survey for 5300 acres located in the Mark Twain National Forest in Butler County, Missouri.  The Phase I Survey consisted of shovel testing the entire project area with shovel test probes excavated along a grid.
