PROJECT OVERVIEW
Description:
The Wellsley apartment project was a $25 million dollar project, consisting of over 30, 2 and 3 story, multi-family apartment units located in west Knoxville. The project was developed in multiply phases. The rough terrain necessitated considerable earth work grading and the design and construction of numerous Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls.
GEOServices Services:
GEOServices began work on the project during the early period of Phase 1. GEOServices provided Geotechnical Engineering to assess subsurface conditions and provided recommendations for site development and for shallow and deep foundation installation. GEOServices provided Geotechnical Design to design the numerous MSE retaining walls. We provided Construction Material Testing and special inspections to assure construction was adequately perform in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
